North Carolina A&T State University is a leading research institution in the University of North Carolina system. Through the Division of Research & Economic Development, the university conducts research in advanced materials & nanotechnology, computational science and engineering, biosciences and biotechnology, energy and environment, logistics and transportation systems, public health, information sciences and technology, and leadership and community development.
