The Children’s Home Identity and Capital Campaign

Reclaiming the future of vulnerable children

Goodness Grows Here
Founded in 1909, The Children’s Home has served more than 6,000 children and their families across North Carolina by providing safety, love, education, and therapy in times of critical need. Located on 200 acres of rolling pastureland a mile from downtown Winston-Salem, The Children’s Home distinguishes itself among child service agencies by offering a unique environment that is serenely therapeutic, educational, inspirational, and most importantly, alive with potential.

‘Goodness Grows Here’, The Children’s Home first capital campaign in its 100 years of existence, was launched to meet the rising demand of services and to position the organization for the evolving needs of the 21st century—expanding what it can do, modernizing what it has, and redefining who it is.

Goodness does grow at The Children’s Home. In the lives of vulnerable children who have nowhere else to turn, the farm represents hope and healthy life, somewhere good and steady in a world that has been so tumultuous, and for boys and girls who likely have much they want to forget, may they always cherish their memories and lessons of the farm.
