Moving from a universal to a needs-based scholarship+ model, Say Yes Guilford approached M Creative for comprehensive strategic planning and a full rebrand. It was an opportunity to reframe their mission toward a transformational “cradle to career” continuum of support that boldly accelerates student success.
Transforming the organization’s identity started with a strategic renaming to shift_ed. This new name encapsulates the organization’s commitment to driving systemic change in education and reflects its dynamic approach to empowering students and families and strengthening collaborations in benefit of the community.
Our visual identity to support the new name began with primary and secondary research, strong messaging, a communications framework, and a designed strategic plan. It was clear that a bold new visual language was needed to convey the ambition and bold mission that began to emerge.
The fresh design language extends across all touchpoints including business stationery system, apparel, advertising, website, and social media. Included in the brand assets were a custom icon set, branded templates, and event stage graphics. This visual overhaul modernized the organization’s look and feel, and enhanced its ability to generate branded communications in-house.
Today, shift_ed has embarked on a transformational giving campaign that will propel their evidenced-based educational programming to new levels. M Creative partnered to help them get there through fundraising support collateral so that individuals, businesses, foundations and government can find themselves in the work.
